The executives of the advertisers Association of Nigeria, (ADVAN), and Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB) have met and resolved to work together to resolve issues plaguing the marketing communications industry as well as work to grow the market.
ADVAN executives paid a courtesy visit to the ACAMB Secretariat yesterday, Friday, November 15th, 2025 at the ACAMB’s head office in Victoria Island Lagos.
According to the ADVAN President, Osamede Uwubanmwen “The purpose of the visit was to have a robust deliberation with ACAMB on matters affecting advertising and advertisers especially on how best to respond to current advertising regulations being spearheaded by ARCON as it bothers not just on the banking sector but all advertisers within the industry.”
The two associations concluded to synergise and proffer solutions to liberate advertisers within the industry for sustainable marketing communications practices for all stakeholders, especially those in the advertising ecosystem.
The ADVAN team was led by its current president, Osamede Uwubanmwen, who was accompanied by the duo of Ediri Ose – Ediale and Tolulope Olaonipekun . while Rasheed Bolarinwa President ACAMB duly welcomed them and accompanied by the first VP Oze Oze, General Secretary Jide Sipe , Treasurer Morelake Phillip Ladipo.

“The two associations have agreed to collaborate and tackle problematic issues affecting the growth of the marketing communications industry,” he said.
