Corporate treasurers association gets new president

The Association of Corporate Treasurers of Nigeria has elected Yinka Ogunnubi as its new president.

A statement by ACTN said Ogunnubi will be leading the affairs of the association with other members of a sectoral representation-based governing council for the next two years.

In his acceptance remarks, Ogunnubi noted that as treasurers, most of the ACTN’s challenges have often revolved around the scarcity of foreign exchange.

He said the issues around the multiplicity of foreign exchange were something that needed to be resolved.

Ogunnubi said, “For our members and of course you know we are a treasurer organisation, most of our challenges have to do with the forex situation, because there is acute forex scarcity, and our members are not able to access forex easily.
