FITC CEO bags doctorate degree from American University

The Chief Executive Officer of Financial Institute Training Centre (FITC), Dr. Chizor Malize has been conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Strategic Leadership by the American Management University, California, USA.

Malize made the announcement via her Facebook handle on Monday morning September 30th, 2024.

According to her, “I am humbled to share the news of my conferment of an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Strategic Leadership by the American Management University, California, USA. This prestigious recognition means so much to me, and I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the Governing Board of the University for this incredible honour.

“This recognition reflects not only my journey but also the opportunities I’ve had to contribute professionally across diverse industries such as financial services, energy, oil & gas, and technology innovation,” she added.

She said; “Throughout my career, I have been opportune to lead transformative initiatives across marketing, finance, business re-engineering, consulting, financial inclusion, ESG and sustainability, all of which have shaped businesses, empowered leaders, and driven sustainable growth across Africa and beyond.

Today, I am excited about the opportunity to lead FITC, a world-class organization that champions innovation, leadership, talent development through knowledge solutions, empowering organizations and business leaders within and outside the financial services sector.”

“This recognition is not mine alone,” adding that “It is a reflection of the collective efforts of the incredible teams, partners, and colleagues I’ve had the privilege of working alongside throughout my journey. I am grateful for the opportunity to continue contributing and making a meaningful impact across these fields and globally.
