Mediavine partner to help publishers with SEO

Ad management firm Mediavine has teamed up with TopHatRank, a company that specializes in search engine optimization (SEO) to assist publishers with their SEO.

The goal is to “help publishers navigate industry challenges and propel their success in the digital landscape,” says Eric Hochberger, CEO of Mediavine.

The arrangement will provide Mediavine publishers with access to SEO tools to help them combat traffic and revenue losses. In addition, publishers will receive education through webinars provided by TopHatRank.

Mediavine publishers will also gain access to discounted SEO audits and managed SEO services, along with discounts on content marketing services from partner firm ContentYum.

TopHatRank has audited and optimized over 1,800 publisher websites since 2019, it says.

It also argues that Google’s frequent updates to its search algorithm and the introduction of generative AI to search results have caused drastic drops to organic traffic and revenue for independent publishers.

Mediavine claims to monetize 11,000 publisher partner websites with 1.6 billion monthly pageviews.
