P&G, BOI train entrepreneurs

Procter & Gamble Nigeria has said it is partnering with the Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment and the Bank of Industry to train entrepreneurs through the annual Small Medium Enterprises academy.

The company in a statement said that the programme is a continuation of the agreement made with the Federal Government of Nigeria in 2019.

It said the edition themed, ‘SMEs – The drivers of post-COVID economic recovery & growth’, would train SMEs on essential business skills.

The statement read in part, “This year’s session witnessed hundreds of small and medium-sised enterprises trained on essential business skills aimed at improving the standard of the goods and services they provide.”

The statement r explained that the programe aims to ensure longitivity and integration of these SMEs into the global value chain.

It stated, “The programme aims to ensure longevity and facilitate the integration of these SMEs into global value chains”
