UBA debunks rumour, says “customers are not erroneously debited” 

Africa’s Gobal Bank, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc. has reacted to a post on social media claiming that 90 per cent of the customers are complaining that their account are being debit to 0 Naira.

The message reads; “If you are using UBA Bank please do not use ATM to withdraw from POS machine. There is general problem right now, 90% of the people are complaining that their account are being debit to 0.”

However, to set the record straight, UBA in a short message via its social media channel said; “This message is FALSE. Our debit cards are working across all ATM and POS machines and customers are NOT being erroneously debited.”
