Abaraonye joins Imperio International as marketing director

Mrs. Roseline Abaraonye, a goal-driven and successful marketer with almost two decades of experience, has departed from the services of NNFems Limited to join Imperio International Limited as its new marketing director.

Roseline, who recently left N.N. Fems as the Chief Commercial Officer, has joined Imperio International, bringing her 18 years of marketing experience to bear.

Before joining NNFEMS Group, other places she had worked include Hayat Kimya Nigeria, where she held the title of Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications, Tiger Brands Nigeria (Dangote Flour Mills), PZ Cussons Nigeria PLC, and Union Diagnostic & Clinical Services.

With over 18 years in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, she has garnered prerequisite experience in building successful brands and teams. In Nigeria, she is one of the few women making a huge difference in the brand marketing space.

She is a graduate of Economics from Abia state University, her yearning for self-development and improvement birthed her continuous explorations in knowledge and skills acquisition such as; acquiring an Action Learning Master’s degree in Business Administration at Business School Netherlands in 2018 (MBA); being a graduate of the Tiger School of Magic (Marketing school) in South Africa; and also being a member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria to mention but a few.

Roseline is currently an Executive Council member of Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN). She had also received an honorary fellowship award from the Institute of Brand Management of Nigeria based on expertise, sound knowledge, and practical leadership experience.

In 2022, 2023 & 2024, she was also recognized as one of the Top 50 most influential women in Marketing & Communications in Nigeria by WIMCA (Women in Marketing and Communications) for her efforts in pushing the frontiers of excellence as well as contributing to the growth of brands, marketing, and communications industry.

In 2023, Roseline was inducted as an associate member of Women in Management and Business (WIMBIZ), and today she has grown into becoming a WIMBOARD Fellow (Women in Boards) following her graduation from the WIMBOARD mentoring program in 2024.

Remarkably, in the course of her career journey, she has recorded a lot of milestones contributing to the growth of various leading brands in Nigeria and making them stand out in their various spaces.

She nurtured and grew the Molfix baby diaper brand to market leadership in 4 years. She had led the successful launch of multiple brands and delivered award-winning marketing executions with over 20 awards across the brands, including the once leading diaper brand in Nigeria, which won the ADVAN “Brand of the Year Award in 2018 and 2019.

She is one woman who has defied all gender misconceptions and has thrived greatly in male-dominated industries. Her life also debases the societal beliefs about women being the weaker vessels. To her, men and women “…have equal opportunities, it only depends on how ready you are as an individual to take advantage of it once it comes your way.”

In addition, she stated that, “Irrespective of gender, we are all individuals born with equal potential. With focus and determination, I believe I can be wherever and whatever I want to be.”
