The immediate past creative director of X3M Ideas, a behemoth communications company, Anthony Eigbe has joined UAC as Vice President, Creative & Communications The Industry can authoritatively report.
Eigbe who announced his new career trajectory on his LinkedIn account said, “And it begins. Jesu Oyingbo joins UAC. I am excited to announce that I have joined one of Nigeria’s most iconic companies, UAC, as Vice President: Creative & Communications.”
In my role, he said, “I will be operating out of a newly formed sub-unit, 1879 Tech Hub; a collection of subject-matter experts working across 4 verticals (Business Tech, Digital Innovation, Tech Academy & Creative Comms) to deliver on UAC’s vision of fully becoming tech-compliant. 1879 Tech Hub will work hand in hand with: CAP: Dulux, Sandtex, Hempel, QSR: Debonairs Pizza, Mr. Biggs, Foods: Gala, Funtime, Supreme Ice Cream, etc, Grand Cereal: Grand Oil and UAC HoldCo”
According to him, “This new role marks a deliberate continuation of my creative evolution. It’s been a dream of mine to experience firsthand a large-scale manufacturing business value chain and see in real-time the direct impact marketing plays.
“I want to use this opportunity to thank the entire board and management of UAC for their unwavering faith throughout this process. Special, special thanks to David Asama Dogeni who has been a real G as well.’
He signed off by saying “Lastly, if you see me for street, I owe you one Gala.”
Eigbe started his advertising career at Cosse TTL as Copywriter/ Copy Lead Intel WA in 2012 and later moved to EXP Marketing Nigeria as senior Ideation executive in 2015.
In continuation of his yearning for career fulfilment, Jesu Oyingbo as he is christened by follow admen moved from EXP to Insight Communications Limited as Group Head – Copy on January 2017 and ended up at X3M Ideas in 2019 as deputy creative director and later elevated to creative director in 2022 in the same firm.
