Mrs. Maureen Omi Ifada, Head, Channel & Category Development (Sub Saharan Africa), FrieslandCampina WAMCO has been elevated to the position of Marketing Director, Sub-Sahara Africa, FrieslandCampina WAMCO currently occupied by Chris Wulff-Caesar, The Industry can authoritatively report.
In July 2021, Wulff-Caesar was appointed to the position of Marketing Director, Sub-Saharan Africa after he previously held the position of Marketing Director for Consumer Dairy and member of the Executive Management Team for 3 years 4 months.
According to a source who spoke to our report, Chris had reportedly told his colleagues goodbye while he is expected to finally hand over to Mrs. Ifada.
According to Chris who exchanged a WhatsApp message with our publisher, Goddie Ofose, he confirmed the development and said, “Unfortunately, I am leaving FrieslandCampina and Nigeria.”
Chris is an experienced Marketing Director and Commercial Operator with a demonstrated history of working in the consumer goods industry. He is skilled in marketing management, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), business and strategy planning, innovation management, trade marketing and execution.
Chris started his career in Unilever and spent a decade there working in local and Africa regional marketing roles both in Ghana and South Africa.
He joined FrieslandCampina WAMCO in 2018 as Marketing Director for Nigeria. He also had a distinguished career at SABMiller and later ABInBev, where he was Marketing Director, West Africa (Nigeria & Ghana), and also a member of the board at Accra Brewery Limited in Ghana.
Maureen is a multi-skilled professional marketing executive with a strong technical background, good business knowledge and experience with proven track records of success and flexibility.
She has excellent communication and people skills, a knack for organizational strategy, trained eye for business development and passion for competitive ideas.
