Jameson ignites Lagos with a 5-day conviviality, responsible hosting

‎

Jameson Irish Whiskey, Nigeria’s leading whisky and a key brand in the Pernod Ricard portfolio, brought its signature spirit of conviviality to life by hosting a five-day celebration through its Jameson Distillery on Tour (JDOT) initiative from September 26th to October 1st in Lagos.

The JDOT experience infused the vibrant energy of Lagos with a taste of Ireland, offering consumers a unique blend of cultural experiences, responsible hosting, and community connection.

Each day featured a unique celebration of creativity and culture, including whiskey tastings, fashion markets, live music, skating, nostalgic games, and water park fun. The tour kicked off with WAF & Street Souk After Dark, a fusion of skating, fashion, and music.

The following days showcased various events, such as nostalgic games and performances by MIA & Vogue Boys, Afrovibes on Orange Island featuring street-style performances, and Afro Jam spotlighting women’s voices and creativity. The tour concluded with a grand Independence Day finale at the Mainland Block Party.

Evane Chenuet, Marketing Director of Pernod Ricard Nigeria, noted that JDOT had become a community, creating a space where creativity, fashion, music, and culture come alive. Pernod Ricard advocated for a mindful approach, grounded in balance, care, and genuine connection.

The ‘Drink More Water’ campaign, Pernod Ricard’s flagship Responsible Hosting initiative, encouraged guests to stay hydrated, drink mindfully, and embrace healthier habits. With JDOT 2025, Jameson reaffirmed its role as a brand of great taste, unforgettable experiences, and a responsible partner in shaping vibrant and sustainable communities.
