MTN Group has appointed David Behr as its new Group Chief Enterprise Business Officer, effective July 1, 2025. David will lead the Group’s Enterprise Business function, overseeing the growth and implementation of MTN’s enterprise strategy. This appointment follows the recent merger of Converged Solutions and the Group Enterprise Business Unit into a unified structure.
David’s key responsibilities include overseeing enterprise strategy as he will drive the growth and implementation of MTN’s enterprise strategy, encompassing voice and data services, Internet of Things (IoT), Unified Communications, and Cloud solutions, in addition, he will focus on expanding MTN’s product portfolio and strengthening its managed services and system integration capabilities across all operating companies.

Selorm Adadevoh, Chief Commercial Officer of MTN Group, expressed enthusiasm about David’s appointment, stating, “We are thrilled to welcome David into this key role… His extensive experience and leadership will undoubtedly position MTN to deliver integrated, next-generation solutions contributing to Africa’s development.”
David brings over 20 years of leadership experience in telecommunications and technology, having held significant roles across various regions. Previously, he served as CEO of MTN Converged Solutions, leading portfolio transformations in key markets. He also held leadership positions at Liquid Telecommunications, including CEO of Liquid C2 and Cloudmania, and Group Chief Product Officer and Group Chief Digital Officer.
This appointment underscores MTN’s commitment to leveraging technology, innovation, and inclusive growth to drive Africa’s progress. With David at the helm, MTN aims to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end enterprise solutions and enhance its capabilities as a systems integrator and managed services provider.
