Nadgar named U.S. Strategy head at EssenceMediacom

GroupM’s EssenceMediacom, has appointed Preeti Nadgar Chief Strategy Officer for the U.S, She reports to U.S. CEO Jill Kelly.

She succeeds Anush Prabhu, who was recently named Global Chief Strategy Officer, Creative Futures, a newly created unit at the agency.

Nadgar previously served as the Head of Strategy for Global Clients and Media Futures Group for the agency.

Prior to arriving at Mediacom in 2021, she held senior roles at agencies including R/GA, PHD, and Starcom.

GroupM said last year it was merging MediaCom and Essence into a single agency and the combined entity was officially unveiled in January. It is GroupM’s largest agency with 10,000 staffers across 120 offices worldwide
