The summit, themed “The Power of Youth, Technology and Creativity in Rebuilding Nigeria’s Reputation,” brought together communications experts to develop strategies for enhancing Nigeria’s image locally and globally. The NRMB aims to promote coherent narratives and trust in Nigeria’s public and private institutions, a key initiative by NIPR.
Established in 1963, NIPR is the sole regulator of Public Relations practice in Nigeria, supervised by the Federal Ministry of Information. The institute’s 2022 Citizens Summit recommended a dedicated body to manage Nigeria’s reputation, leading to the formation of the NRMB.
