THE INDUSTRY TOP 50 CHANGEMAKERS – Mojisola Saka: Visionary leadership enhanced by entrepreneurial initiative

Mojisola Saka has forged a distinguished career spanning over two decades across advertising, banking, brand marketing, and strategic communications.

Her professional journey began in 2003 as a Client Account Executive at Prex Advertising, followed by impactful roles at Exp Nigeria and as a Relationship Manager at First Bank of Nigeria, before transitioning fully into marketing communications.

In October 2010 she joined the then‑emerging communications firm Soulcomms and by February 2011, was appointed Chief Operating Officer, a role she held for 13 years. During her tenure, she steered Soulcomms to sustained growth, built a reputation for high‑impact brand activations and advocacy campaigns, and broke barriers as a woman leader in a male‑dominated sector.

Her creativity and commitment to societal good are evidenced in initiatives she conceived, including an advocacy platform for election‑awareness and accountability, a talent‑marketplace for African creative professionals, and corporate citizenship engagements with nonprofits.

Saka’s contributions have earned serious acknowledgement across the industry. She was named Outstanding PR Personality of the Decade at the Marketing Edge Awards and beyond her professional role, she is a mentor to emerging communications talent, especially women, and remains a vocal advocate for gender balance and career equity in Nigeria’s marketing communications industry.

Mojisola Saka’s blend of visionary leadership, entrepreneurial initiative, industry stewardship, and social advocacy makes her a stand‑out inclusion for Industry Women of Impact 2025.
