Apothecary Africa, SFH, take maternal health campaign to Isheri-Olofin community

Apothecary Africa Limited, a fast-growing healthcare and wellness company based in Alimosho, Lagos, has partnered with the Health Society for Family (SFH) to promote maternal health and well-being in Isheri-Olofin.

Pharmacist Grace George of Apothecary Africa Limited led the Maternal Health Awareness Campaign, held yesterday in Lagos.

The initiative is part of the company’s commitment to improving healthcare accessibility and bringing essential health information closer to the communities it serves, beyond the pharmacy counter.

The campaign sensitised women and families on preventive healthcare practices, the importance of reliable health information, and access to professional healthcare services.

Speaking on the initiative, Pharmacist George noted that Apothecary Africa believes quality healthcare goes beyond dispensing medications.

“For us, healthcare begins with education, prevention, professional guidance and access to safe and effective medications,” she said.

She added that through strategic partnerships like the one with SFH, the company is demonstrating its commitment to becoming a trusted healthcare partner for individuals, families and communities.
